Madhya Pradesh Education News, RTE 2024: The state government (Madhya Pradesh) has already started preparations for admissions to schools for the new academic session. The Education Department has set a schedule for admissions in private schools under the Right to Education Act. The government has stated that the process of submitting online applications will begin on February 23. The State Education Center has instructed all district collectors to conduct this task in a transparent manner and within the specified time frame.

Online applications will be accepted from February 23 to March 3.

The State Education Center has issued a timetable for free online admissions for the weaker sections and deprived groups in non-grant-aided private schools under the Right to Education Act for the academic session 2024-25. State Education Center director Dhanraj S informed that online applications will be accepted on the https://rteportal.mp.gov.in/ portal from February 23 to March 3, 2024. Options for error correction will be available on the portal. After online applications, applicants can download receipts from February 24 to March 5 and verify original documents at centers.

On March 7, a transparent random method will be used to conduct the online lottery under RTE 2024, allocating schools to applicants. Applicants will also be notified via SMS. Selected applicants can download allocation letters from March 11 to March 19, 2024, and gain admission to the allocated schools during this time. Admission reports will also be recorded via mobile app during admission.

In the second phase, schools’ choices can be updated from March 22 to 26.

As soon as the first phase is completed, the process for admission in the second phase will begin. Seats will be displayed on the portal on March 21, 2024. Choices of schools can be updated from March 22 to 26, 2024. The online lottery for the second phase will be held on March 28, and school allocation will be done. Selected applicants in the lottery can download allocation letters between March 30 and April 5, 2024. The State Education Center has instructed all district collectors to conduct this task in a transparent manner and within the specified time frame.
