In this story, Aarav and Ananya are spending a pleasant evening with their Chachi when they come across a picture of a grand fort in the newspaper. Their Chachi tells them that it is Maheshwar Fort, built by Queen Ahilya Bai, a wise and kind ruler from the Holkar family who ruled Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh.

The fort stands on a hill beside the Narmada River and is famous for its overhanging balconies, grand staircases, and special red stones brought from Gujarat and Rajasthan. A 13-feet tall statue of Queen Ahilya Bai still stands guard outside the fort.

Chachi also tells them about the beautiful temples around the fort and the famous Maheshwari sarees made of cotton and silk. Excited by everything they hear, Aarav and Ananya wish to visit Maheshwar one day and explore its secrets.
